Leadership Programs

Want to take your lifesaving skills to the next level? Consider taking leadership courses to become a Lifesaving Society lifeguard, swim instructor and examiner.

Financial Assistance Programs

PLAY Your Way Fund

Financial assistance for children (18 years and under) to participate in recreational programs. For families meeting low-income criteria. Apply through the City of London’s website or at designated community centres.

YMCA Strong Kids Campaign

Covers membership fees and program costs. Eligibility is based on family income and household size. Visit a local branch and provide financial documentation to complete an application.

LSS School Grant Program

The Lifesaving Society provides three in-water Swim to Survive sessions for Grade 3 children. Covers transportation, instructor costs and facility rentals for elementary schools.

Canadian Tire: Jumpstart

Provides access to recreational activities for children (four to 18 years old) whose families meet the financial need criteria. Apply for a program through the Jumpstart website with income documentation.

Boys & Girls Club of London

The Boys & Girls Club of London provides low-cost swim lessons, recreational swimming and youth programs. Register online through their website.
